Fedora Hat Crochet Pattern. The ever classic Fedora. Speaks for itself, simple and elegant.
Pattern is an Instant Digital Download PDF file. Once payment has cleared, the PDF Document will be available for download.
The pattern has instructions for sizes Newborn, Baby, Toddler, Child, Teen, Men's Medium, Men's Large, Men's X Large and XX Large.. Medium Worsted Weight Yarn, #4 on the label, is required in either cotton or wool [ Aran Weight for Britain or 10 ply for Australia ] and a 4 mm crochet hook [ for US G/6 - for Britain 8 ]. The crown is shaped rounded at the back and pointed at the front. Works beautifully in either cotton or wool.
Pattern is not for a beginner, the pattern calls for a lot of increases and the use of the FPSC stitch therefore may overwhelm those unaccustomed to working anything other than a simple beanie. If you have made a hat working in the round before, know how to work a FPSC, then you should find this quite easy. 99% of work is in Single Crochet, plus a few rounds of FPSC which is clearly explained for those that do not know this stitch but want to try to tackle it.
Pattern is written in English and using standard American terms. Color coded instructions and lots of photographs to guide you and as always, if you encounter a problem, just contact me and I will be happy to help.
